This website has undergone many changes in recent weeks, as I figure out which direction I want it to go. It changes as I change. Disregard the “circle of mordred”, as the name of this blog will change yet again. Sometimes things seem like a good idea, and then suddenly they don’t.

I recently came to the realization that some things I had been putting out into the universe were not really working for me.

So I decided to scrap all of it.

I have withdrawn myself from things that are not adding to my life and that I am not really benefitting from. I am no longer offering classes unless I am asked. I will continue to write, but mainly for myself and not quite the same things I was writing before. I have gone through many changes in recent weeks, and certain creative projects that were once important to me have suddenly lost their attraction. These days, I am focusing on myself and what makes me happy.

I am a dark pagan witch, writer and mystic. I have been practicing witchcraft as a spiritual path for over thirty years, and have served as High Priest of various covens and magical groups. I am currently a member of Ordo Mysticorum, an occult group that sometimes offers rituals and magical services to the local community. Aside from this, I prefer to live a reclusive life in the shadows. Under other names, I have written a few books, and articles for pagan magazines, including The Grimoire Society, Witches Magazine (UK), and Witch Way Magazine. My own practice blends Witchcraft and Celtic Paganism. My personal practice has changed and evolved over the years, as it continues to do today.

I love meditation and incorporate chants, mantras, chakras, controlled-breathing techniques and creative visualization into my practice. I have been meditating since I was very young, and it is a huge part of my life.

I enjoy alternative, darkwave, goth, post-punk and new wave music. I read mainly occult books, with some Agatha Christie and Sherlock Holmes. I make my own candles, essential oil blends and witch bottles. I love everything British, and will be making another trip to England later this year. London is one of my favorite places. I shave my head and I have multiple tattoos. I am a gay male living with my husband in a secluded mountain cottage.
